This 2 x 10 MW biomass heater was a challenge both technically and for managing costs and deadlines. The construction began in February 2013 and was aimed for commissioning in December 2013. This deadline and budgets were met, and since this heater delivers heat constituted more than 50 % renewable energy to 14000 Chalon housing, with the other two biomass heaters of the heating network.
